How to reset PTX1000 Root Password

    Hi,

I'm trying to reset a PTX1000 root password.  The KB document doesn't really match with what I'm seeing.  When I do a Cntrl-C, I get an option for two discs to choose among.  Then I get to the GRUB prompt.  I don't see anything about resetting

Use the ^ and v keys to select which entry is highlighted.
Press enter to boot the selected OS, `e' to edit the commands
before booting or `c' for a command-line. ESC to return previous
          menu.

When I push C, I go into the GRUB CLI.  Does anyone have any idea as to how to recover the root from here or what I am missing?

Minimal BASH-like line editing is supported. For the first word, TAB
lists possible command completions. Anywhere else TAB lists possible
device or file completions. ESC at any time exits.
