I have an anoying issue where I cannot get subscriber access routes redistributed via iBGP.
IPv4 access routes redistribute fine and I can redistribute IPv6 routes via OSPF but not iBGP.
If I check the subscriber it looks fine:
user@LNS> show subscribers user-name testing@myisp.net
Interface IP Address/VLAN ID User Name LS:RI
si-1/0/0.3221358193 61.113.113.1 testing@myisp.net default:default
* 2a01:123:c060::/48
* 2a01:123:c05d:7c9::/64
The route looks good:
inet6.0: 224 destinations, 269 routes (219 active, 0 holddown, 50 hidden)
+ = Active Route, - = Last Active, * = Both
2a01:123:c060::/48 *[Access/13] 00:02:58
Private unicast
But I can only get it to be advertised out if using OSPFv3. If I check the advertisement for this route to an iBGP neighbour then I thikn I can see the issue but I have no idea what's causing it:
user@LNS> show route 2a01:123:c060::/48 advertising-protocol bgp 123.123.123.123 extensive
* 2a01:123:c060::/48 (1 entry, 1 announced)
BGP group internal type Internal
BGP label allocation failure: Need an interface
Nexthop: Not advertised
Flags: Nexthop Change
Localpref: 100
AS path: [12345] I
So I'm pretty sure it's the BGP label allocation failure with the remark 'need an interface'
It's dual stack and each circuit is ipv4/ipv6 capable and the ipv4 all advertises fine. the si0/0/0 has both ipv6 and ipv6 families.
Not sure where else to start looking? Any advise much appreciated.
thanks
