This command should have no service impact as it's an attempt to take a snapshot from the active slice to the alternate slice.
If Copying goes successfully, a reboot is required to boot the device from the old primary partition.
Another question please,
as described on the document this command will repair the primary partition and alarm will be still active.
1- is it sure that this command has no service impact ? because there are several B2B clients on that switch
2- How to clear the alarm?
Thx in advance

The correct syntax is:
request system snapshot slice alternate

Hello bbeshay,
some commands aren't supported by the ACX like request system snapshot media internal slice alternate
.
there is no "internal" option on ACX device
W_Wallix@ACX4000_KBG095> request system snapshot media ?
Possible completions:
usb Write snapshot to device connected to USB port
W_Wallix@ACX4000_KBG095> request system snapshot media

Hello,
It is likely that the file system became corrupted due to a sudden power loss or an ungraceful shutdown.
When the primary partition detects a corruption, the device boots from the backup partition; which then becomes the active partition.
The purpose of this alarm is to inform the users that the device is rebooted from the backup partition so that the administration should take necessary actions to repair the primary partition."
Ref
Switch boots from backup root partition after file system corruption occurred on the primary root partition
https://kb.juniper.net/InfoCenter/index?page=content&id=KB23180
The above document talks about and EX switch but it also applies to the ACX platform.
