  • 1.  MX LACP configuration

    Posted 20 days ago
Hi, I was researching about various features of MX series and its MPCs. I have a question about LACP on MX960
Can we create a  LACP bundle on from ports on different MPC? Or all of bundle members must be on the same MPC?
Besides this is there any restrictions in this Regard?
    Thank you..

You can have ae member interfaces on mulitple mpc cards and this is the common approach as it gives some hardware redundancy should a card fail for the bundle.

The primary "restriction" is the recommendation that all member links be the same speed and you don't mix ports of different speed in the same bundle.
