    Hi,

I have a port mirror configured, which is mirroring traffic from a trunk port.
When I capture the traffic in Wireshark, there's no VLAN tags includes.

Is there something special I need to do to keep the VLAN tags in the capture?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Update your network card driver and OS settings, e.g. Intel: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005498/network-and-io/ethernet-products.html

    bonjour M. Robertson,
may be related to the computer reading what is coming out of the mirror port and stripping the vlan tag . This mod worked for me  at the time.  It allowed me to also see the 2nd Vlan tag I was adding for QinQ !

    good luck

    Thanks,

    I found something similar here:

I have the Broadcom chipset, so I had to do a reg hack, but I got it working
