    How to allow traffic of L2TP/IPSec  VPN tunnel in SRX 240?

    If you are allowing the connection to a server through the SRX you would use the application

    junos-l2tp

    in the security policy that permits the connection.

     

    If you are trying to have the SRX terminate an l2tp connection, this is not supported, you will need to use IPSEC instead.

    So, allow and termination are two different things. Hmm..never know about it.

    Just curious, is there a link that has the list of the names of protocols.

     

    Example: junos-l2tp, junos-ppp etc...

    You can see the pre-defined list of services on the SRX with this command.

     

    show groups junos-defaults applications
