    Hi,

I tried the https://migration-tools.juniper.net/ to convert my configurations from ScreenOS to JUNOS -- more specifically I wanted to convert my configs from my SSG5 to SRX220.

This tool did not work for me. Seems the 220 model is not listed as a model that this tool can convert to.

Is there something else I can use? I have tons of policies I would prefer to not have to manually re-config.

Many thanks for the help in advance.

Just convert it to an SRX210 - the only difference between the 210 and 220 is that the 220 is a ge ports while the 210 only has the two ge ports. So you might need to do some search and replace on fe-0/0/X to ge.

I need the conversion tool for SRX from version 12 to 15. Seems many commands is not supported in version 15 like vlans, DHCP

The change you are likely seeing is the move to ELS (enhance layer 2 services).  The convertor tool is no longer availble for this migration.  You can see the links to available docs in this kb.

    Hi,

I have a partner using the Juniper migration tools and a couple of questions have been posed.

    1. where is the migration tool hosted ?

    2. how are the configs removed once used in the tool  (revocated)

Thanks in advance for any information

This information is classified. More info here:

There is option tab called "Use my configuration for future I2J enhancements ".

Untick this options, it shouldn't be saving your config. More info here:

    https://migrationtools.juniper.net/i2j/i2j-terms-of-use.jsp

If you have any questions regarding these terms of use, you may contact the I2J support team at i2j-support@juniper.net.
