  • 1.  Support SPAN(Port Mirroring) on MX960

    Hi

    I was checking Juniper Feature Navigator site for SPAN(Port Mirroring) support on MX960. There is a column in this page which is called prerequisite and in front of MX960 It was noted"MPC10E".

    A Question:

    What does this mean? does it mean I need that specific card to have SPAN feature? and I cannot have SPAN feature on MPC7E-MRATE card?

    Hello,

    Port-mirror is supported on MX960 with any DPC and MPC card. 

    MPC10 is not a prerequisite, any other MPC supports port-mirroring.

    Port-mirror is also supported on MX fixed chassis models (without DPC or MPC card) such as MX5...MX80.
