  • 1.  Recommended software for EX4300 EX3300 Ex2200

    Experts,

     

    I would like to know if there is any update for recommended software for:

     

    Currently Have:

     

    EX4300 JUNOS 14.1X53-D40.8

    EX3300 JUNOS 12.3R12-S7

    EX2200  JUNOS 12.3R12-S7

     

    Do I have to update to newest recommended? I remeber a year ago upgarding and then reverting back due to memory bug ..... so I prefer ask you based on your experience. Thank you.

    great thank you, I will wait till summer and find better time for testing, I dont see huge jumps between these vetrsions .....

    Hello -

     

    TSB17329 doesn't work for me. I need to see note 5 as I upgraded prior to the memory issue being identified. I am currently on 15.1R6-S2.1 which stopped the issue i was seeing, i am now adding a switch to a vc and wondering if 15.1R6-S2.1 is still the guidance. That link used to say what the guidance was, and is now defunct.

    Thats why I ask here before fallow Juniper TAC case. last time I fallowed their advise and suggestions and after a week of problems with memory I downgraded the software to older versions. I think these are just suggested versions of software. Mine all VC's looks like are pretty stable - some minor issues but not affecting netwoirk performance, so I will keep whaverer I have for now till summer (vacation time) since then I will have more time for experiminting newer software.

    Works again and does provide the recommend version of 15.1 for ex3300's.

     

    As of this post, it's Junos OS 15.1R7

    You do not need to upgrade if your currently installed version of Junos is working well.

    However, please note EOL schedule: to see the list​ of End of Engineering (EOE) and EOS (End of Support) dates for specific Junos versions, please go to the Junos Dates & Milestones page: https://support.juniper.net/support/eol/software/junos/
