To make emergency boot device, it is giving an error:

Invalid argument.

This error is shown while creating a emergency boot device from ex4200 switch.

Any idea as to why this error is shown.

Have tried two pendrives for this image to be copied. Both are giving this error. Pendrives are fat32 formatted.

Hi,

are you sure it is /dev/da1? 

you can try ls /dev/da* to make sure you are using the correct one (when you connect the usb you should check wich /da it uses)

Also are you sure the usb is bootable? you can also use this free software to do this I use it quite often and no installation is necessary.
