  • 1.  MX, irb interface speed

    Hello, i have created interface IRB on my MX10T.  

    > show interfaces irb.594 | match Bandwidth
    Bandwidth: 1000mbps

    I have speed 1Gbps, but if i run monitor interface irb.594, i got next:

    Remote statistics:
  Input bytes:           167084393581252 (821049472 bps)        [407012994]
  Output bytes:          140095880186810 (1074554016 bps)       [569597575]
  Input packets:            183426591467 (149814 pps)              [600547]
  Output packets:           204643679174 (177783 pps)              [730595]

    Input: 0.82Gbps Ouput: 1.07Gbps

    And i have Cacti graphics, where i see that i got about 1.3 Gb/s. Can IRB interface work on 10Gb/s ?

    This is for purely informative purposes/populating SNMP OID.

    Yes they can if You enable 10GE ports/add a 10x1GE LAG to the bridge-domain|VPLS instance where this IRB is situated.

    Hello, thank you!

    # show bridge-domains vlan-594                      
domain-type bridge;
vlan-id 594;
routing-interface irb.594;

    And this vlan going to XE-interface.
