  • 1.  Load balancing | LAG| ECMP and selection of member port/next hop

    Hi everybody,

    Please assume MX5 platform.

     

    Do we have any command which can show which member port in a lag will be used for forwarding for a given   SRC IP/DST IP, SRC/DST port, TCP/UDP, SRC MAC/DST MAC?

     

    ECMP:

    Let say we are using ECMP and for a destination we have installed two next hop in forwarding table.

    Do we have any command that can show use which next hop will be used for forwarding, for a given SRC IP/DST IP, SRC/DST port, TCP/UDP?

    Hi,

     

    IMO, I don't think we have any CLI command to check it. You can probably try following:

     

    >show route forwarding-table destination x.x.x.x extensive
