    Hi Juniper Experts,

I'm doing some test and interested to run vmx over gns3 and test running bgpls and pcep. May I know if you guyz have tried it and good tutorial to start with. First thing first is to get the vmx package so that I can run it on gns3.

I really appreciate if you guyz could lead me the way. Thank you for your attention and kind support.

    Thank you

    Hi,

A lot of generic tutorial and videos are available publicly. I will found a bunch of them from google/youtube.

    To install vmx on gns3

    https://gns3.com/discussions/juniper-on-gns3

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MrTIrQ8FwA4&feature=youtu.be

To configure BGPLS and PCEP on vmx:

    https://networkzblogger.com/2018/05/24/pcep-initiated-lsp-using-opendaylight-and-juniper-vmx/

However I am not sure if we support BGPLS and PCEP in your flavor of VMX. If someone has used, they can further comment

    Hi..thank you sir.

Based on the information from the web portal and net, vmx have the features of bgpls and pcep.

Im not sure which version but someone told me that vmx version 17 and above supported. I dont have the image file to test with either in virtualbox or gns3. Maybe someone have tried deploying and run vmx on gns3. I really need it for my own learning towards bgpsls and pcep capabilities over Juniper router in virtual environment, I really hope some could help me. Please advise further, Thank you

    Hi...

Anyone did test PCE/PCEP and BGPLS over vMX? May I know which version vMX  exactly supported.

Appreciate some info sharing. Thank you.
