    Hi all,

As a user there are some restrictions on executing the following command. Is there another way to get whole /var/log/* in compress?

    >file archive compress source /var/log/* destination /var/tmp/28042020_VAR_LOG.tgz

    Hi Arix,

For the file archive, we need a minimum Required Privilege Level maintenance.

We do not have any other alternative, as even the shell prompt won't open without that.

This maintenance privilege level allows us to perform system maintenance, including starting a local shell on the router or switch and becoming the superuser in the shell by using the su root command and can halt and reboot the router or switch by using the request system commands.

    Sharat
