    Hi, everybody!

    I have 2 routers:

    mx104, 16.1R3.10 and mx480, 16.1R5.7

between of them i have LACP

And i have full log messageson mx104:

    vitas@agr1.ekt10> show log messages | last 10
    Oct 14 14:32:40.662 2019 agr1.ekt10 /kernel: LACP: Preference:1, cont ifd xe-2/0/2 wt 1, cd_to_attached 0
    Oct 14 14:32:40.662 2019 agr1.ekt10 /kernel: LACP: Preference:1, cont ifd xe-1/2/0 wt 1, cd_to_attached 0
    Oct 14 14:32:40.662 2019 agr1.ekt10 /kernel: LACP: Preference:1, cont ifd xe-1/2/0 wt 1, cd_to_attached 0
    Oct 14 14:32:40.662 2019 agr1.ekt10 /kernel: LACP: Preference:1, cont ifd xe-2/0/2 wt 1, cd_to_attached 0

    Oct 14 14:33:10.656 2019 agr1.ekt10 /kernel: LACP: Preference:1, cont ifd xe-1/2/0 wt 1, cd_to_attached 0
    Oct 14 14:33:10.656 2019 agr1.ekt10 /kernel: LACP: Preference:1, cont ifd xe-2/0/2 wt 1, cd_to_attached 0
    Oct 14 14:33:10.658 2019 agr1.ekt10 /kernel: LACP: Preference:1, cont ifd xe-1/2/0 wt 1, cd_to_attached 0
    Oct 14 14:33:10.658 2019 agr1.ekt10 /kernel: LACP: Preference:1, cont ifd xe-1/2/0 wt 1, cd_to_attached 0
    Oct 14 14:33:10.658 2019 agr1.ekt10 /kernel: LACP: Preference:1, cont ifd xe-2/0/2 wt 1, cd_to_attached 0

    This interfaces included in LACP.

It does not affect traffic. But log is full. It is't normal. I looked for about this but not found.

May be someone know about this?

    Hi,

These are harmless and cosmetic messages. Do you have "any any" enabled for the messages file?

From 16.1R5 onwards these messages will be seen only when traceoptions are enabled.

So you can either go to that junos or you can filter these logs and ignore them from logging in messages file. Below KB provides steps on how to do that -

    Thanks
