  • 1.  What is mask for the prefix-list?

    Hi, In MX960, we are going to use the below command to associate with bgp policy. If we do not use mask at end of the command, what is effect fot the prefix? Can we say it would have a default mask /64 added at the end? or /128? Thank you

     

    set policy-options prefix-list IMPORT_V_V6 9900:224:5540:9901::1

    From this doc

    If you omit prefix-length for an IPv4 prefix, the default is /32prefix-length. If you omit prefix-length for an IPv6 prefix, the default is /128.
