    Hi All
I'm new on this community and i have an issues with ethernet switching result to my QFX5100
Actually i have to redundant site on each of the site i have a QFX5100 switch witch is connected to a switch operator equipement .
On one of the site i can see the mac-address of operator equipement as you can see below

    show ethernet-switching table vlan-id 1206

    MAC flags (S - static MAC, D - dynamic MAC, L - locally learned, P - Persistent static
SE - statistics enabled, NM - non configured MAC, R - remote PE MAC, O - ovsdb MAC)

Ethernet switching table : 2 entries, 2 learned
    Routing instance : default-switch
    Vlan MAC MAC Age Logical
    name address flags interface
    INTERCO_1 02:00:00:00:00:04 D - xe-1/0/31.0
    INTERCO_1 d4:04:ff:yy:5d:xx D - xe-1/0/44.0

    show vlans 1206 extensive
    Tag: 1206
Internal index: 121, Generation Index: 125, Origin: Static
    MAC aging time: 300 seconds
    Interfaces:
    xe-1/0/31.0*,tagged,trunk
    xe-1/0/44.0*,tagged,trunk
Number of interfaces: Tagged 2 , Untagged 0
    Total MAC count: 2

And for the second site i see nothing as you can see below
    show ethernet-switching table vlan-id 1214

    Routing instance : default-switch
Vlan MAC MAC Age Logical NH RTR
name address flags interface Index ID
    INTERCO_2 d4:04:zz:5e:yy:xx D - xe-1/0/44.0 0 0

    show vlans 1214 extensive

    Tag: 1214
Internal index: 176, Generation Index: 180, Origin: Static
    MAC aging time: 300 seconds
    VXLAN Enabled : No
    Interfaces:
    xe-1/0/31.0*,tagged,trunk
    xe-1/0/44.0*,tagged,trunk
Number of interfaces: Tagged 2 , Untagged 0
    Total MAC count: 1

There are some ho know what is the problem?

And why wehave two differents results what is this :
    NH RTR
    Index ID
    0 0
    ????

    Hi,

There isn't much to go on based on the information presented. A simple diagram to explain how these devices interface and their roles L2, L3. I suspect the switch is just not receiving frames therefore not installing any mac entries. Wish i could provide more feedback.

    Thanks,
