I have the following topology:
I have the following configuration
SRX220
set vlans service-vlan vlan-id 1000
set vlans service-vlan interface ge-0/0/5.0
set vlans service-vlan interface ge-0/0/7.0
set vlans service-vlan dot1q-tunneling customer-vlans 70
set interfaces ge-0/0/5 unit 0 family ethernet-switching
VR
set interfaces ge-0/0/6 vlan-tagging
set interfaces ge-0/0/6 unit 80 vlan-id 80
set interfaces ge-0/0/6 unit 80 family inet address 10.10.10.2/24
I expected to ping failure, as vlan 80 does not map to S-VLAN 1000, but I still can ping the remote .
root@srx220-1# run ping 10.10.10.2 routing-instance vr-2
PING 10.10.10.2 (10.10.10.2): 56 data bytes
64 bytes from 10.10.10.2: icmp_seq=0 ttl=64 time=1.299 ms
64 bytes from 10.10.10.2: icmp_seq=1 ttl=64 time=0.300 ms
what did I miss here ?
thanks !!
