VRRP on EX4600 with interconnect link between them

    Hi Community,

I have topology like diagram below. The Ex4600 aren't configured as Virtual Chassis.  I have 2 links between them (aggregated) for VRRP advertisements and n number of servers (which can be connected both directly to EXes and through a L2 switch). I suppose I can't escape the loop (EX4600-1 - L2SW - EX4600-2). Is it possible to configure somehow Juniper switches for VRRP in the such topology? I can not use VC and MC-LAG.

    Hi,

If use VC then not need VRRP. If use MC-LAG then u can use VRRP. If u dont want use MC-LAG then u can use RTG or MSTP.

    Thanks

Yes, in your topology the connections would have a layer 2 loop.  So you will need to select which flavor of spanning tree that you would like to deploy.
