    Posted 03-29-2021 10:04
    Hi,

I've three EX4300 in Virtual Chassis configuration. So I have Master Backup and One Line Card.
I've installed the license for ospf... (extended-feature-list) on both routing engine.

Can you tell me if I've to install another license on the third switch that in in linecard mode?

    Thanks!

    Hello Leo,

You don't need the license for the linecard.   If you run "show system license" is requesting the license?

    Regards,

    Yes, that looks good.

When you configure OSPF and the license is missing, you will see a warning after a commit.  If you don't see this warning, it means that no more licenses are required.

According to the  output, you will able to commit the OSPF configuration with no warnings.

    Hope this clarifies,

    Regards,

    Randall
