  • 1.  QFX3500 question about port 1 to 6

    Hello,

    i have 2 qfx3500 and i want to use them as VC but port 1 to 6 and last 6 ports(if i do not be wrong) is marked with white colocr on the chassis, it seems these ports are for special features, can somebody guide me about this/

    The first and last 6 ports can both be ethernet and fibre channel SFP+. The rest are ethernet only - so for your use-case it doesn't make any difference.

    so i can put 48x sfp+ 10g optics in my ports and use whole 48 x 10gb ports with no worry, right?

    Correct, you can utilize all 48 ports for 10G SFP+ transceivers 🙂
