Hello community,
is it possible to configure the PPPoE Intermedia Agent on the QFX-series switches, specifically the QFX5100?
Thanks in advance
Hi
You meant setting up Agent Circuit /Remote Identifier by QFX?
Generally it's the "DSLAM" (digital subscriber line access multiplexer) a device which resides in the access nodes that sets up ACI/ARI for PPPoE Subscriber, the QFX just fowards looking up the ether headers.

You may come across the following but its only for dhcp use:

Hello Karan,
thanks for your reply.
yes generaly the DSLAM does that, but there are switches that support it too.
Also in this case there will be no DSLAM. Only the QFX to which the CPEs will be connected to.
Hi,
QFX is more of a data center focused switch, and unfortunely doesn't have feature to insert ACI/ARI info for PPPoE subscriber. You may further consult with QFX Juniper sales folks to know if there is any scope to add in future.
