    Hello All,

    I've got an EX4300 switch configured as it follows :

    MAIN_SWITCH> show configuration interfaces xe-0/2/2
    description TO_PARTNER;
    inactive: native-vlan-id 100;
    link-mode full-duplex;
    unit 0 {
    family ethernet-switching {
    interface-mode trunk;
    vlan {
    members [ PARTNER_VL100 PARTNER_VL200 ];
    }
    }
    }

    Can you please help identify physically the port itself through a picture.

    Thanks.

    MIMSY

    Could you specify the output of >show chassis hardware ?

    So from the picture of the switch you can look for the uplink slot which is PIC 2 module which has 4 ports. This is a removable uplink module. You can compare from the pics in the link below

    https://www.juniper.net/documentation/en_US/release-independent/junos/topics/topic-map/ex4300-uplink-module.html#figure-removing-sfpplus-um-in-ex4300-48t-switch

    So the interface xe-0/2/2 will be the third port on this uplink module.

    Hope this helps.

    Hello again,

    Thanks for your support.

    If I understand well, it's the front ports of the EX switch ?

    Yes, indeed. Have a look here: https://www.juniper.net/documentation/en_US/junos/topics/concept/interfaces-naming-conventions-qfx-series.html It somewhat depends on the model how the ports are spread to different PICs, so for any new model you should always check the KB or by yourself map it by using 'show chassis hardware', where you can clearly see PICs and ports (might need to plug in some SFP to have visible content).
