Ive disabled syslog and snmp on the switch .

Im looking for a good doc that explains what gets sent to eventd and why..  ALSO.. Im dabling on the shell side wanted to know if anyone

could give any guidace on ktrace / kdump ..   Im just trying to see what all the process is doing ..

Any advice on how to dive in and see what is making the cpu so high , id be very greateful.

    this one is running 18.1R1.9

So i found a freebsd post that helps settle my nerousness about this. As LOAD is not a good eough metric to montior this type stuff.

Im still trying to find out what sends to eventd.  If anyone has that info .. please post.. found this on another post.. But that

may not be all the things eventd handles.

Are you still having this issue? We've been fighting it for some time without success. At one point the engineer found evidence that it was the Junos Space VM causing the CPU spikes, but I've turned the VM off to confirm and the problem still exists.
