    Hello

Has anyone had this issue.  when I install vQFX-PFE on EVE-NG, the local console password doesnt allow me to login.

    I used "root" "root"

The RE vm will drop us to the Junos prompt, like we’re used to. The only way to really tell that the PFE is fully loaded, is to login with “root/Juniper”,

or try root wothout a password which is the default on many other junos devices

    regards

    Hi.

The console credentials for vQFX PFE VM are "root/no".

Agree with Alexander. The only way how to check that vQFX PFE VM is fully loaded is from CLI of vQFX RE VM (e.g. show chassis fpc). Default credentials for RE VM are those provided by Alexander  - "root/Juniper".

    Hi,

I am able to login using "root/no" (as shown below).  But how do I get the actual login prompt for the switch?

The root login puts you on the shell of the device.  Enter junos by the command cli

    cli

This means the system is not fully loaded then and there is a problem with the install, vm file or the load process itself.

    Hi Kenneth,

You console the wrong image. U should console the RE not PFE.

    Thanks
