Switching

Hi mate,
I’m facing a problem while configuring my ex2200, and in need of a guide through this.

Thing is I have and ISP modem (Draytek) to connect to Internet. It provides LAN range of 10.238.37.0/24.
I also have an ex2200, with 2 l3-interfaces vlans working on ge-0/0/1 (192.168.1.0/24) and ge-0/0/2 (192.168.2.0/24).

Now I want those 2 vlans to be able to connect to the internet through interface ge-0/0/23 which is connected with the Draytek modem.
Can anyone guide me through this, Im quite lost here.

Assuming the Draytek is using 10.238.37.1 and the EX2200 is using 10.238.37.2, you need to install two static routes on the Draytek so it knows how to reach the 192.x subnets:

 

192.168.1.0/24 next-hop 10.238.37.2

192.168.2.0/24 next-hop 10.238.37.2

 

The ex2200 in turn needs a static default route pointing to the Draytek IP

 

set routing-options static route 0.0.0.0/0 next-hop 10.238.37.1
