Switching

This is a strange problem, that has happened to several of our EX switches.

I am unable to log in with ssh, or telnet. Was able to log in several days ago.

Noticed it was  down in SPACE, so I tried to log in with https/http, still unable to log in with known user accounts.

So I tried to log in with root user and password, did not work, then tried with root and no password.

I was able to gain access with https and root no password. Went to cli editor, and copied over the correct password, with the same code for root.

Then commit, and now we can access the switch.

Is this a bug, has anyone had this issue.?

Which exact switch EX model, and what version of Junos are you running with?

EX3200 with 15.1R5.5

Could you try 12.3R12 or 12.3R12-S6 instead of 15.1??

Did you get different result using 12.3??
