we have an EX2200-24T which is failing to load JUNOS and going to the loader> prompt.
I'm trying to re-install JUNOS through TFTP. I've added the options and can see the router make the tftp request on the server but then it fails with "cannot open package (error 60)".
loader> set ipaddr=192.168.1.2loader> set netmask=255.255.255.0loader> set serverip=192.168.1.1
loader> install --format tftp://192.168.1.1/jinstall-ex-2200-11.4R5.7-domestic-signed.tgzcannot open package (error 60)
Does anyone know how to resolve this. I read that it could be to do with free disk space but I'm not sure how to check space or create some.
Any help would be appreciated.
Have you tried different ways?
Like upgrading using FTP (Filezilla) or USB?
It often happens that Junos installation at loader prompt create problem I have faced the situation many a times. After going through lot of documents about Junos and FreeBsd I have devised a procedure which works without any problem and 100 success rate
view my earlier post on link ,,,http://forums.juniper.net/t5/Junos-and-Junosphere/EX-3200-4200-Switch-Recovery/m-p/178233

thanks for your reply.
Unfortunately I'm unable to try your procedure as we RMA’d the unit, following advice from Cisco TAC.
This didn't work.
What did not work, the RMA replacement? BTW, Junos does not support tftp, FTP or SCP only - no completely unsecure protocols.
