  • 1.  How to resolve LED:SPD Alarm 01

    Hi,

     

    Kindly let us know how to resolve LED:SPD Alarm 01.

    I am using ex 4200 switch and its LCD display giving the alarm "LED:SPD Alarm 01"

     

    Kindly help me...

    It appears that there is a SPEED alarm on your chassis.


    Please send us this command:

    show chassis lcd

    There is no such thing as a "Speed Alarm." LED:SPD means the port LED's indicate port speed, and ALARM means a chassis or system alarm has been triggered. They are two separate messages.

    ALARM 03 means you have 3 alarms. You will need to use show chassis alarms from the CLI to list them.

    For #1 you have a bad power supply or it's not plugged in.

    For #2 you need to install/update the bootloader. This post has more information:
