    Hi everybody,

On SRX we have without no-copy option during software upgrade:
    https://kb.juniper.net/InfoCenter/index?page=content&id=KB32190&actp=RSS#:~:text=With%20the%20no%2Dcopy%20option%2C%20the%20firmware%20file%20will%20not,performed%20on%20SRX%20branch%20devices.

I am wondering if such option is available on EX4600/EX4300?

Thanks and have a good evening!!

    Hi sarahr202,

As the KB stated this is applicable to all Junos [Junos] Example - Upgrade Junos OS with no-copy option
as the no-copy statement is optional the default is to copy, so as in SRX's to "no-copy" you need to issue the command, and as mentioned before it is the same for Switches, Routers, and Firewalls running Junos 🙂

here you can find some more info: https://www.juniper.net/documentation/en_US/junos/topics/reference/command-summary/request-system-software-add.html
