I was attempt to implement of transparent mode on my vSRX. When I committed, the message show as follow.

    [edit]
    root@exercise-vSRX-NG1# commit and-quit
warning: Interfaces are changed from route mode to transparent mode. Please reboot the device or all nodes in the HA cluster!
    commit complete
    Exiting configuration mode

Then I followed to reboot my vSRX. But I am still curious about how to know the current state of the interfaces, whether it is on route mode on transparent mode in operational mode cli. What the command are they?

Thanks for the information. I was meant of thinking of, was my SRX work for layer2 only, or still able to make layer3 interface? Then I follow my study case, and it does work for running both of them simultaneously.  Except of creating the an irb.x interfaces. The output shown the options of which SRX does work on layer2.

Am I correct,  on each of the first time the transparent mode interface applied, it needs to be rebooted?
