  • 1.  Pulse vs NCP VPN clients - conflicting information

    I am hearing conflicting information about the Pulse client. I have read that it has been deprecated and Juniper recommends NCP's client. However, I believe it is still available and was updated as recently as 11 Oct 2019. Is the Pulse client free to use for Juniper customers? I'm thinking of buying a load of NCP clients otherwise, but I don't want to waste my money unnecessarily.

    For anyone interested, I did't get anywhere with this and ended up buying NCP licences.

    Pulse Secure was the previous contractor for clients on the SRX and NCP is the new contractor.  

     

    The Pulse clients are still updated and used on their own hardware.

     

    But they are no longer tested with SRX and I have seen multiple reports over the last year where current Pulse clients no longer work to connect to SRX devices correctly.
