With out NSM how to upgrade the OS of standalone IDP?

    Can we upgrade OS of IDP without using NSM? From ACM I could not find the option of upgrade. Can any one give me procedure through command line?

    you can do that using CLI

    it is straight forward  ,  just copy the software  image  to the sensor then write the command :

    root#sh   os-file-name.sh

    (  it will  take  time &  you will se messages displaying the status )

     

    but since you didn't make the  upgrade from the NSM ,  you should readd the idp to the nsm after thew upgrade

    there is a problem you'll face   , but i don't know how to solve it :

    when readding the idp , you'll need to do  all the configuration from the beginig , i on't know how to take a copy from idp conf
