  • 1.  How to Export IDP Policy ?

    Posted 05-06-2009 00:59

    Hello,

I am installing new IDP devices in my network, and i manage them using NSMXpress using the "NSM 2008.2r1".

My Question is I have some old "IDP-100 & IDP-1000" devices which are removed from the network.

==>  I need to know how export the "SECURITY Policy" on them so i can use it and apply it on the new installed IDPs.

is there a way to use the "NSM UI client" or i should copy some files from the IDP using the CLI ?

    with my regards

    Hello,

unless you have access to the NSM server that was managing the old IDPs there's no way to import the IDP policy into another NSM.

Check this KB for more information:

I recommend you to ignore the old policy and start with a new one 🙂

    Ciao
